E3 is scheduled to take place from June 14 to 17, 2010. Although the event is still a week away, Sega has already revealed the various titles players can expect to see at E3. According to the official Sega blog, some of these games include Vanquish, Conduit 2 and Sonic Colors.
The sci-fi shooter entitled Vanquish is directed by Resident Evil series creator Shinji Mikami. Gamers take on the role of a government agent named Sam who adorns a futuristic battlesuit. He is fully equipped with deadly weaponry and also hones an array of martial arts skills that will come in handy while facing robot foes.
The events take place in the near future where the world’s fast-depleting energy resources are being fought over by United States and Russia. The latter country has captured the space station that US has built to harness solar energy in order to use it as a blast wave to destroy San Francisco. The US forces must recapture the space station before New York is targeted.
Conduit 2 is noted to be the epic sequel to the acclaimed title The Conduit which released last year for the Wii console. This title lets gamers save the earth from an alien invasion. They must travel all across the globe in order to rid the world of the foreign menace. To aid in their endeavor, players are provided with a formidable arsenal.
In Sonic Colors, players see the evil Dr. Eggman creating an interstellar amusement park which is set afloat above Sonic’s home planet. The latest creation is packed with loads of incredible rides and attractions. He has captured an alien race known as Wisps in order to harness their colorful energy for evil means. It is now up to Sonic to save the little critters and foil Dr. Eggman’s plans. The lovable blue hedgehog is aided by the wonderful alien powers which will enhance his speed and skill.
All these interesting Sega titles will be unveiled at this years highly-awaited E3.
