Rising Star Games Unveils First-Quarter Line-up for 2010

Rising Star Games is one of Europe’s most prolific publishers of Japanese-originated games. Now Rising Star Games has made known that it will begin the year 2010 with a bang, and announced the first eight titles for the first quarter of 2010.

“With eight games released from February to April, we’re about to embark on Rising Star Games’ busiest period to date,” said Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games. “And it’s a real case of quality and quantity – with Fragile Dreams (the title known as ‘Fragile’ in Japan), Half-Minute Hero and our first PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 titles, it’ll be a brilliant start to what will be our best year ever.”

The eight Rising Star Games’ first quarter releases include three titles from affiliate label Gamebridge. The release schedule for February and March is as follows:

February 2010:

    Animal Kororo for the Nintendo DS.
    Half-Minute Hero for the PSP.
    Papermates for the Nintendo DS.
    Way of the Samurai 3 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

March 2010:

    Avalon Code for the Nintendo DS.
    Fragile Dreams for the Nintendo Wii.
    My World My Way for the Nintendo DS.
    Rune Factory Frontier for the Nintendo Wii.

Half-Minute Hero coming in February is the brilliantly original PSP title which fuses classic gaming mechanics with thirty-second gaming bites to give a twist to the RPG genre on the platform. Also hitting in February is Gamebridge’s Papermates, a game which allows players to take photos of themselves to be used as in-game characters. Fragile Dreams, one of 2010’s most anticipated titles for the Wii features unrivaled atmosphere, charm and beauty.

Pricing for the above mentioned games or exact release details have not been revealed.
