Dragon Age Comic set to arrive in March 2010

Dragon Age: Origins is an acclaimed RPG title developed by Edmonton studio. The game unfurled onto PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows last month while the Mac version unveiled just a few days ago. With the game opening to eager audiences, IDW Publishing announces that fans can expect Dragon Age comic to hit stores by March next year.

Gamers and comic book aficionados can both soon be able to get their copy of the EA comics based on the modern fantasy role playing game. The upcoming offering will be penned by renowned novelist Orson Scott Card. He along with co-writer Aaron Johnston is set to bring this project to the forefront. The interior art will skillfully be done by Mark Robinson while the cover of the comic is adorned with the design by Humberto Ramos.

The story sees the Mages ruling over the world by dark arts and forbidden spells. Their wrong doing gave rise to the Darkspawn which poses a treat to the inhabitants of the realm namely man, faeries and trolls alike. Because of this chaos, magic is now under control and taught only in secret, foreseen by the Templars. A new generation of Mages will arise and defy the very foundation and rules of the Templars.

The official IDW site reveals that the upcoming Dragon Age Comic book will bear a price tag of $3.99 (approx. Rs.186) for 32 pages when it releases in March next year.
