Lego licensing has made a deal with Disney to turn Prince of Persia into a toy-line. Lego will also be making toy sets of the movies ‘Cars’ and ‘Toy Story’. The Prince of Persia Lego set will be modeled after the Prince of Persia movie, starring Jake Gyllenhaal as the prince.
The movie is based on the Prince of Persia game whose rights are owned by none other than Ubisoft. The toy sets of Cars, Toy Story and Prince of Persia will be hitting shelves sometime in 2010. This means that you will have to wait a while before you can go out and purchase the tiny Gyllenhaal figures.
Also there is a lot of speculation that the toy set will accompanied by a Lego Prince of Persia video game, although it would be awesome to see a Lego Harry Potter video game in the mix considering the vast Potter universe and the near-endless possibilities.
