FIFA 10, the latest title in the FIFA series from EA Sports has just been released across Europe over the weekend. Now we have word from EA that FIFA 10 is now available for download on the App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch, thus bringing the franchise to the platform for the first time.
Being the only fully licensed football game on the App Store, FIFA 10 features 12,650 players, 570 teams and 30 leagues from around the world. A simple two-button control system delivers a free flowing football experience and the game’s six different camera angles ensure that players don’t miss any of the action.
FIFA 10 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 features a revolutionary 360 degree dribbling system. The game also has a revamped Manager Mode, new Practice Arena as well as customizable set pieces. FIFA 10 for the Nintendo Wii has many new features such as improved shooting, new target passing, more responsive goalies and the new “Strike It System”.
FIFA 10 will release across Europe for the Nintendo DS on October 16, 2009, while the game for all platforms will release in North America on October 20, 2009. Prices for FIFA 10 on the App Store have not been mentioned.
