Metal Gear Solid has crossed all the milestones of success in the world of console gaming. Now, it’s time to enter into another emerging market – the mobile phone arena. Konami has signed a bond with Nokia to offer Metal Gear Solid Mobile to N-Gage mobile gaming service.
The mobile version of Metal Gear Solid is boasted to be the original content that has been produced exclusively for the mobile platform. Obviously, the game is an inspirational content of the “METAL GEAR” series.
Konami has worked very closely for this game in terms of 3D graphics and camera work, which helps to replicate the “Infiltrate without being seen by the enemy” tension, which was originally found in the “METAL GEAR” series. With the help of the phone’s in-built camera, gamers will notice a whole new gameplay of the Metal Gear Solid Mobile. They have the freedom to change the color of the character’s suit and also access an optional control for a portion of the game.
Developed in association with Ideaworks3D, the Metal Gear Solid Mobile has achieved top honors at the 2007 International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA).
Scheduled to unveil in June this year, the N-Gage release of the Metal Gear Solid Mobile is supports five languages, including English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
