Nintendo Wii will get new game titles over the next 3 months

Nintendo Wii Game Console Nintendo announced it will release games for one and all during the first quarter in order to keep up the spell created by its Wii gaming console. The first three months of the year will see games, including new ones, like Wii Play, SSX Blur, The Godfather Blackhand Edition and Prince of Persia Rival Swords. In addition, there will be classic franchises like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and the upcoming Mario Kart 64 for the Wii Shop Channel.

Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Amie, said the company’s worldwide launch of Wii shows people, from experienced players to non-players, are hungry for the kinds of entertainment Wii provides. He said “Wii hardware production continues full bore, and every week we’re delivering more content to further expand the experience.”

Wii Play will be a collection of nine new games in the Wii Sports style, including games like billiards, fishing and shooting range, a target-practice game in the style of Nintendo’s classic Duck Hunt. It will be in shops on 14 February.
