Activision has announced that the newly-renamed Guitar Hero game for the PS2, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s will have more songs. Famous artists from the eighties such as Skid Row, Poison and Eddie Money will now feature in the game.

Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s will feature thirty splendid new songs from the classic era. The game is expected to release in the summer of 2007. There is no confirmation whether Guitar Hero Encore will now be a spin-off for future games.
