Teenager Kills Brother in Video Game Row

In a shocking incident in an American town, a thirteen year-old allegedly knifed his sixteen year-old brother to death on Sunday. ABC News is reporting that younger brother, Jahmir Ricks, stabbed his sibling, Antwan Ricks, in the chest twice, puncturing his heart and a lung over a dispute on who got next.

After that Jahmir ran out side shouting that he had stabbed his brother as the police arrived at the scene. Apparently his mother also did the same thing as him. A witness stated that the accused standing out, crying and screaming and yelling as the police took him and put in car. She also said that the mother was in hysterics.

However, Daniel Kortan who is the Police Chief of Lansdowne doesn’t blame video games for the tragic incident. He said, “I don’t believe the actual game itself was the cause of it. I don’t believe they were acting out in any way or mimicking anything in a video game. I believe it was actual use of the game and whose turn it was.”

The Ricks were too shaken to talk publicly about the incident. However, Jahmir Ricks will be charged as an adult with first-degree murder.
