Shigeru Miyamoto, who was included in Time’s list of most influential people, has stated that he is not interested in making a game like Halo. He said that he could make it, but he is just not interested.
Shigeru Miyamoto told Entertainment Weekly, “I could make Halo. It is not that I could not design that game. It is just that I choose not to. One thing about my game design is that I never try to look for what people want and then try to make that game design. I always try to create new experiences that are fun to play.”
He also accepted that Zelda did not do as well in Japan as Nintendo had expected it would. However, on issues other than gaming, Shigeru Miyamoto expressed his anger over children who don’t respect elders and people who don’t pay their taxes.
