Paradox Studios Snaps Madhavan for Mobile Games

Madhavan MIG’ Paradox Studios, the Mumbai-based game development company which is a division of Reliance, has snapped up Bollywood actor Madhavan to create six mobile game titles based on him. It signed a world wide contract with him and has launched the first of the six game titles, ‘Madhavan’s MIG’. The concept of the game had been inspired from Madhavan’s role of a fighter pilot in the recent Bollywood hit ‘Rang De Basanti’, in which he flew an MIG 29 aircraft.

Paradox CEO Salil Bhargava said “We have already signed up with footballer Baichung Bhutia and music director Bappi Lahiri recently for celebrity licenses, which would give these games a pan-India appeal. The game will be released in several countries abroad among the Indian diaspora.”

The ‘paper-player’ model would cost Rs 5 per download, while a one-time download would range from Rs.50-99. The game which consists of three levels would be accessible on Reliance, Idea and Spice mobile services.
