Call of Duty: WW2 official details unleashed

Call of Duty: World War II is returning to the series’ roots, a fact all gamers have been familiar with since Activision started teasing its launch on social media. We now know that the title will indeed be released on November 3, 2017 and engage players as soldiers in the 1st Infantry Division in fast paced combat across ‘iconic locations in the European Theater,’ an area scarred by heavy fighting between 1939 and 1945.

Activision had been getting some flak for spit-shining Call of Duty into the future instead of sticking to what it does best. So World World 2 has naturally been welcomed gratefully by diehard fans who want what they want. It’s nice to know that the publisher is listening closely to its audiences. According to the information available right now, COD WW2 will offer players ‘boots on the ground’ action from the beaches of Normandy to the Hürtgen Forest.

An original story-line will be featured in the game, proffering an exciting standalone experience in co-op mode, according to Activision’s announcement. With all the dark hints that have been sprinkled around about the undead, there’s speculation it will have an improved zombie mode. Fans have also been promised new ways to socialize with friends and the COD community at large. We’ll know more when the full reveal takes place at the E3 which is scheduled for mid-June.
