Titanfall beta on opens to all on Xbox One as well as PC

Much in demand were Titanfall beta codes in the past week, but there’s no need for those if you want to catch a glimpse of what this upcoming first-person shooter developed by former Call of Duty creators has on offer for you. The beta has been thrown open to all Xbox One owners as well as PC users. This testing phase is apparently supposed to last only till February 19, but it’s very likely that the makers will extend its length further than that.

Those who own Xbox One consoles can now head into the ‘New Game Demos’ section of the Game Store, and that’s where they’ll find the Titanfall beta. Moreover, you can also say ‘Show me game demos’ on Xbox Bing to find it, whereas in some regions it ad will be placed right on the Xbox One home page itself. The beta has been opened up to PC users as well, and it can be accessed now through Origin.

Announced for the first time at last year’s E3, Titanfall had managed to gain quite some popularity at the said event. Its unique concept combines first-person warfare with mechs and parkour elements. The game is moreover a multiplayer-only offering. Although its beta can be accessed only through the Xbox One and PC, it’s also supposed to be launched for the Xbox 360.

While the last-gen console will be getting Titanfall on March 25, its other two versions will be launched by publisher EA on March 11.
