Only UK gamers will be able to lay their hands on a special Far Cry 3 Insane Edition which comes equipped with a bobble head figure as well as a host of other content. This collector’s version of the game will be made available for the PS3, Xbox 360 as well as PC, and will sell at a price of 65.95 Euros (approx. Rs. 4,675) for consoles and at 56.75 Euros (approx. Rs. 4,025) for PC.
The 12cm bobble head that has been included in the Insane Edition is that of Vass Wahine, a character from this game who also features on the cover of its standard editions. Apart from a special survival kit packaging, this bundle also comprises an ‘Insanity Guide’ book which offers hints and tips to help gamers survive on the island.
Extra single-player content dubbed Monkey Business will be available as well. Hurk, a new character will confer on players four fresh missions that are claimed to contain one hour of additional gameplay. Moreover, the Insane Edition will also consist of the Lost Expeditions pack which offers two missions having over 40 minutes of gameplay and an exclusive weapon called the Japanese gun.
And then there’s more in-game content such as the Hunter Pack that comprises an M700 hunting rifle and its three collector’s skins, the Warrior Pack which has a handcrafted dagger and two exclusive tribal tattoos, and the Predator Pack that comes with four exclusive rare predators and a multiplayer bow. Gamers in the UK can now pre-order this version of the game from various retailers.
The Far Cry 3 Insane Edition will be released along with the standard version on September 6, 2012. The game’s beta is currently gearing up to hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 this summer.
