BioShock Infinite Boys of Silence Enemies Detailed

A post on the official PlayStation blog has revealed details about enemies named Boys of Silence which gamers will face in BioShock Infinite. This is the third of such characters – Heavy Hitters as they’re called – to be disclosed by Irrational Games, the other two being Motorized Patriot and Handyman.

The third installment of Heavy Hitters comprises of enemies who use no brute force or heavy artillery, but only sound. Boys of Silence are blind, but they seem to have sharp hearing senses. Hence, players will be required to either sneak past them or engage them combat, and see to it that they don’t call for reinforcements.

The first such Hard Hitter to be revealed by the developer was Motorized Patriot. This enemy is described by art director, Nate Wells as a ‘creepily-motorized’ and ‘animatronic George Washington.’ Handyman is another Heavy Hitter included within the game. This gigantic yet agile creature can leap to great distances and bounce around in the available space.

BioShock Infinite 3

BioShock Infinite will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 16, 2012. It can be pre-ordered now for consoles at 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,040), while the PC version can be reserved at 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,535).
