CS: GO has been developed by Valve in partnership with Hidden Path Entertainment. Besides, fresh elements like new modes, matchmaking, leaderboards and more would also be comprised within the game.

The title has been in its PC beta stages since November last year, when it was supposed to enable cross-platform play. But in March 2012, Valve announced that it would let go of this trait due to the issue of content updates. That’s because in order to provide online upgrades, it is necessary for all the updates to be different for each system in order to avoid any console-specific limitations.
