Activision is obviously not going to sit around and let unofficial campaigning take over promotions for one of the most anticipated titles of 2011. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Facebook page marks out May 23 as the date for the game’s world premiere. It also says that this will happen during game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on ESPN. Interesting, very interesting.
Let’s put together all that we know about the title so far. It’s been rumored that it will be made available in the market by November 8, 2011. This eight installment of the franchise will take flight from where Cliffhanger in Modern Warfare 2 concluded and the settings are going to transport players all across the globe.
Amazon has already put up the game for pre-ordering. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for Xbox 360 is pegged at $59.99. The PS3 and Windows XP/Vista PC versions also sport the same $59.99 price tags.
