The retro favorite Duke Nukem has certainly made a comeback into the gaming scene. Just last month, we had reported that Duke Nukem Forever would release this May on PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The title made it to our Hottest Gaming News of the Month even before its release into stores. More news is now seen sprouting for fans of the well-known hero. 2K Games along with Gearbox Software reveal Duke Nukem Forever Balls of Steel Edition.
This special edition comprises of the game drenched in the exclusive Balls of Steel cover art as well as various interesting items. These include the collectible bust of the protagonist himself, limited-edition certificate of authenticity and a 100-page hardcover book entitled The History, Legacy & Legend: Duke Nukem Forever Art from the Vault. Additionally, fans can avail of Duke Nukem Forever postcard series, collectable comic book, poker chips, radioactive emblem dice and sticker, foldable paper craft, and mini-card deck.
The recognizable figure Duke Nukem returns to the gaming arena bringing along with him his signature style and intense action. He is tasked with saving the Earth from the invading aliens. Before gamers limber up to grab the complete game, the company is unveiling a demo version of the same to prep up players as they brace themselves to face against evil scum.
Duke Nukem Forever Balls of Steel Edition is expected to enter along with the standard editions of the game on May 3, 2011 in North America. The exact pricing details are still unavailable at this point.
