Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection DLC on its Way to PS3, PC

Activision and Treyarch have confirmed that the Rezurrection DLC which was launched last month for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops will now be released for the PS3 and PC editions of the game. And to celebrate this launch, the folks over at Treyarch will be hosting a Double XP event from September 23 to September 25.

The much talked about Moon map will make its debut for the game’s PS3 and PC counterparts. This map is hailed as the first Call of Duty level to ‘catapult players into orbit.’ New weapons, hi-tech gear and a multitude of undead creatures await gamers who purchase this pack. Four maps from past Call of Duty games all make their way into the DLC. These consist of Nacht der Untöten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese.

Buyers of the Rezurrection DLC would also receive a free copy of an enhanced Zombies soundtrack. Those who purchase it for their PS3 systems will also get an additional Moon theme. Moreover, gamers would be able to participate in a Double XP event that is scheduled to be held from September 23 to September 25. Fourth in the series of DLCs for the game, this pack was earlier released only for the Xbox 360.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection DLC is slated to be released for the PS3 and PC on September 22, 2011. Activision and Treyarch are yet to disclose the pricing of the DLC, but it is expected to cost the same as its Xbox 360 version which retails for 1200 Microsoft Points (approx Rs. 707). Gamers who own the Hardened or Prestige editions of the game can however, download it for free.
