Sony has joined forces with Insomniac Games to bring forth the Resistance 3 Brutality Pack DLC. This offering is now available to fans of the acclaimed sci-fi post-apocalyptic FPS title that released a few months back. As the official PlayStation blog reports, the latest downloadable content includes a brutal survival mode.
The company suggests that the survival mode pits gamers against waves of ravenous Grims who are hell-bent on getting their slimy fingers on the players and their pals in order to deal out some serious damage. Further adding to the excitement is the co-op mode that unfurls for both offline as well as online modes. There is also a special Warden Static PS3 theme along with a unique Mick Cutler skin and the sledgehammer.
The Brutality Pack DLC for the recently revealed Resistance 3 incorporates melodies belted out by the likes of Grammy nominated, Mastodon. There are seven songs, of which a trio among them is plucked out from the newly unveiled album dubbed The Hunter. In addition, the other offerings are a duo of special bonus tracks from The Hunter deluxe version and a pair of instrumental Blood Mountain versions.
When the third installment in the acclaimed Resistance released, we indulged in a candid review that brought forth the game’s highlights and shortcomings. Back in September, Insomniac Games also revealed details about the Survival Pack DLC for Resistance 3 which unleashed a month later. This inclusion touted to add a new game mode to the multiplayer version of the title.
The Resistance 3 Brutality Pack DLC can now be purchased from the PlayStation Store for a price of 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 207).
