Battlefield 3 Pre-order Bonuses Unveiled

The perks which buyers of Battlefield 3 would receive if they pre-ordered their copy of the much anticipated title were revealed recently. Select retailers will be offering bonuses like DLC, weapon packs and multiplayer skins with the limited edition of the title. Until this month, these bargains were available only for European customers, but now they have opened to buyers worldwide.

Gamers who pre-purchase the title from Gamestop will be furnished with the Physical Warfare pack that includes weapons like the Type 88 LMG which was seen in Bad Company 2, the DAO-12 shotgun from Battlefield 2 and other equipment like Flechette ammo for the DAO-12 shotgun and a Flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle.

Also, players will get free access to the Back To Karkand DLC which is expected to cost 10 USD (approx. Rs. 442) when it releases later. Moreover, PowerUp rewards consist a free Prima Battlefield 3 strategy guide for gamers who purchase this title from Gamestop.

Developers have also announced that the game will be running a multiplayer beta before the release of the actual title. So far, access is expected to remain limited to Medal of Honor Limited Edition buyers. This beta will be made available on all major platforms including PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Battlefield 3 can currently be pre-ordered from the above mentioned retailers as well as others at a price of 59.95 USD (approx. Rs. 2,654). It will be launched worldwide in October this year.
