Dead Space Extraction May Soon Hit PS3, Xbox 360

PAX East 10 just recently concluded after a successful three day stint this weekend at Boston, Massachusetts. The event witnessed Electronic Arts and Visceral Games making their appearance as a panel for the upcoming title Dead Space 2. During this time, the companies told players to keep their ‘ears peeled’ for a Dead Space Extraction port unfurling onto other gaming systems.

As IGN suggests, this piece of information was disclosed during the questions and answers segment of the panel. When asked whether Dead Space Extraction would make its way onto other platforms, the panel simply answered, “Keep your ears peeled.” With this reply we can just expect the companies to release Extraction onto the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The panel also revealed some new details based on the forthcoming Dead Space 2 game. The main character Isaac Clarke will sport a new metal suit complete with flight capabilities. Apparently there are thrusters embedded within his boots and gloves. According to IGN, a video showing Clarke flying from a train car to another separated by quite a large distance was witnessed at the event.

There is no concrete confirmation yet about whether Dead Space Extraction which was initially fashioned for the Wii would make it to other platforms, but we will certainly keep our ‘ears peeled’ for more information on the same.
