Bulletstorm Epic Edition to Extend Early Access for Gears of War 3 Beta

During this year’s E3 expo, Microsoft broadened its gaming carpet with the unveiling of some much awaited titles. While making diverse revelations, the company stamped its collaborative project with Epic Games and People Can Fly dubbed Bulletstorm with a shipping date. The gaming giant has now uncovered the Epic Edition of the game which will come in to offer players with an early access to Gears of War 3 public beta.

The Epic Edition has been enveloped not only with an assured and early access to the Gears of War 3 beta but also a variety of in-game content for Bulletstorm. Gamers can kick off their online campaign in this new action shooter with 25,000 experience points while fortifying their path to victory with terrifying Peace Maker Carbine, boots, armor and numerous visual upgrades.

“Epic is poised to break new ground in 2011 with Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm,” explained Dr. Michael Capps, President of Epic Games. “With these two highly anticipated triple-A experiences comes a unique opportunity to do something to really excite players, and that’s what we intend to accomplish with the support of Microsoft Game Studios and EA. This is for the shooter fans.”

The upcoming game is said to unfurl a turbulent Anarchy four player online co-operative mode. Players can arm their journey through the title’s skillshot gameplay as they unlock and upscale their arsenal. Touted to deliver furious shooting experiences, it has been crafted for carving out a distinct multiplayer action style.

Bulletstorm has been slated for a February 22, 2010 release in North America for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Gamers across Europe can lay their hands on the title from February 25, 2010. The title’s Epic Edition is now available for pre-order and those who wish to book themselves a copy will need to shell out 49.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 3,504).
