Microsoft has confirmed the release date for downloadable content for Valve’s Left 4 Dead. The Survival Pack for Left 4 Dead will be released on April 21, 2009 on Xbox 360, CVG reports. Initially the Xbox 360 and PC downloadable content was merely confirmed with no release date being announced.
The L4D DLC pack includes a new survival mode in which players must face and see out an endless hoard of the infected for as long as they possibly can. True to its name, the mode requires players to just survive the unending waves of the infected population. The pack also features two new campaigns in Versus mode, Dead Air and Death Toll.
Valve has not yet confirmed a date for the Left 4 Dead PC DLC, but had earlier said that the Xbox 360 and PC DLC would release simultaneously. So speculation is that the downloadable content for the PC will be made available around the same time.
