Two years ago, when Sony finally launched the PlayStation 3, gamers satiated their need for a first person shooter game by playing Resistance: Fall of Man. The shooter is still popular but now Sony launched the sequel, Resistance 2, which too has been very successful.
Now Insomniac Games has put downloadable content related to both the Resistance games on the PlayStation Network. Bryan Intihar is the community manager at Insomniac Games. On the official PlayStation Blog, Intihar posted that PS3 gamers can expect Resistance 2 PS3 themes along with a new trailer of the game. As for Resistance: Fall of Man, the download-only multiplayer maps will be available for free.
Bryan Intihar also informed that they have been doing a lot of research and PS3 gamers can expect new community features on MyResistance.net soon. Details of these new features for MyResistance.net will be released in some time.
