French firm In-Fusio has dragged Microsoft to court for stalling their designs for the mobile version of Halo. Microsoft had initially approached In-Fusio to create ringtones and wallpapers for the game, but they soon entered in to a deal to make a mobile version of Halo. Then things turned sour between them and In-Fusio blamed Microsoft of ignoring their game designs.
This excerpt is from the lawsuit:
- Microsoft has thwarted In-Fusio’s efforts to develop Halo under the agreement. Indeed, in the last 11 months, Microsoft has approved no fully developed In-Fusio game designs; ignoring and then refusing to accept In-Fusio’s game design concepts with little or no explanation and leaving In-Fusio little basis to revise its concepts to obtain Microsoft’s approval.
In-Fusio is now seeking compensation from Microsoft for wrongfully terminating a deal. In-Fusio also has licenses for mobile game versions of Rambo, Battlestar Galactica, Terminator, South Park, and Neopets. Halo is a game that will be fun to play on the mobile, but now it seems unlikely that a version for the mobile will ever release.
