This game was first released by Capcom in March this year for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It was in May that it made its way to PC, whereas its iOS launch took place in September. It includes major fighters from both the franchises of classic games. The gameplay however has been made to match that of the Street Fighter series rather than Tekken. Another game based more on the latter’s style is currently under production under the name Tekken X Street Fighter. It will supposedly kick in 3D models and fighting mechanics that have made the Tekken series so popular.

Street Fighter X Tekken will be getting its ‘hefty’ update in December this year. Meanwhile, October 19 will see the release of its PS Vita version.
