New Super Street Fighter IV Stages revealed

Back in September, we had reported that Super Street Fighter IV would hit gaming consoles by spring next year. With that date slowly dawning upon us, Capcom-Unity has further heightened the anticipation of Street Fighter fans by revealing information on some new stages. Super Street Fighter IV is noted to be an updated version of the original Street Fighter IV which unleashed last year.

Street Fighter games are known for its colorful and detailed backgrounds that complement the fight taking place in that particular stage. According to the Capcom-Unity blog, players can espy in the new Metro City background Hugo and a huge shirtless Mike Haggar statue.

The African stage is packed with crisp lighting and background action. This includes fighting during an eclipse, knocking over hippos and being taunted by annoying meerkats. Another stage included into the Super Street Fighter IV is Seth’s S.I.N. laboratory which is on the brink of a catastrophic meltdown.

The background of the Korean stage is filled with loads of different hues and is packed with old and youth spectators turning up to watch the brawl taking place in their streets. In the India stage, gamers can espy lots of action going on in the background as well. There are audiences with wild hairstyles as well as cows strewn all across the background. Locals can also be seen in their traditional attires as they watch the fight.

Super Street Fighter IV is packed with new characters, enhanced online modes, better ultra combo system and now even new stages. The highly-anticipated game is set to release for the Xbox 360 and PS3 next year.
