Sega has stated that Virtua Fighter 5 will release for the Xbox 360. The game was originally deemed as a PS3 exclusive.
Game Overview:
- Virtua Fighter 5 features wonderfully comprehensive stages from around the world where players clash in fast-moving martial arts battles against one of 17 characters. Two energetic new characters join the privileged group of fighters, adding two new unique fighting styles for players to try to master. With more skill and strategy than ever before, players are also given the chance to study and utilize the new “Offensive Move” technique to take down their opponents from different angles, adding a new dimension to the game and something for both new and old fans to master. Virtua Fighter 5 also includes the capability to customise characters by picking from four base costumes and a wide range of unlockable accessories and earnable items. As players win more tournaments, they will not only earn costumes and accessories, but also prizes and in-game money that will let them buy items from the in-game shop.

Virtua Fighter series was a huge hit when it was released on the Sega consoles in the late 90s. Then it hit the PlayStation where it had a huge fan following. Xbox 360 gamers can rejoice, especially the ones who enjoyed games like Dead Or Alive 4. Virtua Fighter 5 will come to the Xbox 360 in late summer, after it releases for the PS3 in March 2007.
