Gamers who have an inescapable penchant for customizing their gameplay whenever possible can look forward to TrackMania 2 Canyon which is slated to release in the early half of next month.Developed by Nadeo Studio, the folks behind all the previous games in the franchise, this title will be available to play as a multiplayer beta from August 17 only to those who pre-order the full game from the Ubisoft online portal.
This upcoming game is touted to feature updated graphics over its predecessor and why not? Realistic racing features and an expanded network infrastructure are also supposed to be a part of the racing title. It is seemingly the first offering to be released on ManiaPlanet, which is a new gaming network system for PC players that allows content creation and community participation.
TrackMania 2 Canyon will be showcased at Gamescom which will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 17 onwards. Electronic Sporting League will allow gamers to experience the title and will also organize LAN competitions. This is where players will be able to challenge professional gamers for whatever reason they’d want to do so. Visitors can also expect to get a chance to watch an invitation-only pro gamer tournament, the specifics of which haven’t been elaborated upon.
The release date of TrackMania 2 Canyon has been announced to be September 14, 2011. Gamers who can’t wait to get their hands on the title can choose to pre-order it from the Ubisoft website so as to receive free access to the multiplayer beta, as mentioned earlier.
