Capcom’s MotoGP 09/10 to have Comprehensive Career Mode

Earlier this year Capcom had revealed MotoGP 09/10 for the 2010 season. Now the Japanese video game developer and publisher has announced that it will be taking MotoGP 09/10 in an all new direction. The game will contain all the riders, tracks and teams from the official 2009 MotoGP season, and free downloadable content from the 2010 season. Capcom has also confirmed that MotoGP 09/10 will have the most comprehensive Career Mode of any MotoGP title.

Players can earn Rider Reputation points in MotoGP 09/10 for their performance on the track such as overtaking and slipstreaming. Rider Reputation points can also be earned for showboating. The game also allows players to take their careers in their hands, off the track by hiring engineers, team managers and press officers to help further their careers.

The higher number of Rider Reputation points earned, the more coveted players will be, by other manufacturers and sponsors. Players’ teams will also research upgrades for their bikes to increase performance.

Release dates and pricing for MotoGP 09/10 are not known, but the game is scheduled to release on the Xbox 360 and PS3 sometime next year.
