Yesterday, we had reported that Epic Games had revealed that their shooter game, Gears Of War 2 for the Xbox 360, had sold more than three million copies. But besides shooters, racing games are also popular with the crowd. One such game that was released this year for the PS3 was MotorStorm: Pacific Rift.
But now Sony has confirmed that MotorStorm: Pacific Rift has crossed the one million milestone. In an interview with gaming news website GamesIndustry.biz, the senior VP of Sony’s Worldwide Studio Europe, Michael Denny confirmed that MotorStorm: Pacific that sold more than a million copies. This is what Denny said:
“In terms of the other titles it was also important to focus on, the sequel to MotorStorm, we’re pleased with the high Metacritic rating of 82 per cent and it’s sold over a million units worldwide.”
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift for the PS3 has been developed by Evolution Studios and is published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The game was released a few weeks ago and has got some pretty decent reviews.
