Hasbro Family Game Night 3 Drops in this Autumn

Back in October last year, EA greeted the holiday season with Hasbro Family Game Night 2. Now, the company plans to release the third instalment namely Hasbro Family Game Night 3 by fall this year. The upcoming game is packed with a suite of five new digital versions of popular Hasbro game brands.

The titles held within the third iteration are offered in a new theme park setting with Mr. Potato Head reprising his role as park guide and host. The five games include The Game of Life, Clue, Twister, Mouse Trap and Yahtzee Hands Down. Gamers can also take advantage of the local multiplayer capability of up to four players.

Mark Blecher, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Digital Media and Gaming at Hasbro stated, “This third installment in the successful Hasbro Family Game Night video game series delivers another great lineup of time-tested favorite Hasbro game brands and uses online play to take the entertainment and competition to an entirely new level. No longer will travel distance be a hurdle for families and friends to get together and have some fun.”

Chip Lange, General Manager and Senior Vice President of the Hasbro Division at Electronic Arts commented, “Families have embraced the Hasbro Family Game Night video game franchise because it brings them together around the TV for quality time they’ll remember for a lifetime. Hasbro Family Game Night 3 has been developed with next generation online gaming at the forefront and will enable people to play the five new and iconic Hasbro game brands online with friends and family all across the world.”

Noted to be a first in the acclaimed franchise, they can also challenge opponents from all over the world through online play features for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. Adding that personal touch to gameplay, there is full Mii avatar integration for the Wii and Xbox 360 versions.

Hasbro Family Game Night 3 is fashioned for the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3. Although scheduled to release this fall, the exact dates and pricing details are still a bit hazy.
