We are not really sure if fans of Plants vs. Zombies will agree with us or not. But, those who wish to experience this fight can now download the Game of the Year Edition of Plants vs. Zombies through Steam for PC and Mac, PopCap Games and Valve have announced.
Ron Powers, VP of Product Management at PopCap, remarked “Delivering Plants vs. Zombies via Steam helped us reach a tremendous audience for the game. Adding Steam Cloud functionality to the game allows us to increase the value of the title to existing and new customers. In addition, with the title support Steam Play for cross platform play, it seemed the timing was perfect for adding Steam Cloud support.”
This GOTY version of the title comes with Steam Cloud support, enabling gamers to store and access game data saved on any computers. This edition of the game will also bring in the Zombatar to the scene. Employing this new feature, players can easily personalize their zombies and introduce them directly into gameplay.
Plants vs. Zombies players will receive Steam Cloud support as a free update. The company has announced that gamers who have procured a PC version of the game from Steam can download these enhancements without paying any additional charges. Fans can now load the game even on a Mac based system via Steam Play. The GOTY Edition of Plants vs. Zombies is available for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 465).
