Finally, here is one decent game for your iPod. Sony BMG has sent in word that its ‘musika’ music visualizer game is available via the iTunes Store. However, this rhythm action game can only be played on fifth generation iPods.

Users can simply enjoy musika’s imagery, or you can actually play by pressing the center button in time with the letters in the song’s name to advance to more difficult levels. The game is very visual and as you progress to higher levels, different visual effects are also displayed.

Masaya Matsuura, President of NanaOn-Sha said: The iPod is a device that revolutionized music and it is now poised to be a progressive gaming platform. Many years ago Apple’s tools first opened my eyes to the power of music and multimedia, so it’s exciting to release my first game for this device.”

Thomas Hesse, President, Global Digital Business & U.S. Sales, SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT said: “musika is a natural extension of our existing relationship with the iPod and iTunes, and represents another step in our ongoing campaign to broaden our reach in the area of music-based mobile entertainment.”
