Reliance Entertainment has entered into the gaming arena with the launch of a casual gaming portal called Zapak.com. Currently Zapak.com is under beta, and they are welcoming any feedback that gamers might have to share.
Zapak.com features casual games under various categories such as action, sports, mind games and racing. You have to register onto their Web site to begin playing the online games.
Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has plans to invest $100 million over the next three years and dedicate it to building gaming portals and cafes all around the place. Gradually, they plan to shift from casual games to action games and MMOGs. Zapak.com will formally be launched on December 1, 2006.
Rumour has it that even Mukesh Ambani is planning an entry into gaming. Looks like the gaming scene is sure to grow in leaps and bounds; what with all the biggies entering the scene.
