Life Is Strange 2 Headed To Nintendo Switch Next Month

Life Is Strange 2

Life is Strange 2 was the only game from the series that was unplayable on the Nintendo Switch but that is all set to change soon. February 2 will see the game arrive on the console and of course, all its episodes will be released at once.

With this launch, Nintendo Switch owners will finally be able to experience the entire repertoire of the adventure game series.

While the first two games (main game and its prequel) were accessible to them via the Life Is Strange Remastered Collection, the latest edition titled Life Is Strange: True Colors was made available on the console only two months after its original release.

Coming back to Life is Strange 2, it comes from the stables of series creator Dontnod Entertainment. Unlike its predecessors, it chooses a road movie structure and swaps the small town setting for an exploration of the American West Coast.

The game is known for having taken detours in terms of gameplay. For instance, the player character is no longer the one with superpowers but is instead the older brother who must protect their power-laden sibling.

Life is Strange 2 tells the story of Sean Diaz and his younger brother Daniel, who are fleeing their home in Seattle after their father’s death at the hands of a police officer.

Following an explosion that they are met with, Daniel develops telekinetic abilities. Now fugitives, the two must now embark on a cross-country road trip to their father’s homeland of Puerto Lobos, Mexico.

The Life is Strange series is known for its graphic adventure gameplay that allows players to examine and interact with objects while solving puzzles involving fetch quests and changing the environment. The dialogue choices in the game have long-term consequences on the story.

As we said, Life is Strange 2 is slated to hit the Nintendo Switch on February 2.
