No Man’s Sky release gets delayed in India

Even as the world indulges in the innovative and highly anticipated No Man’s Sky on their PS4s, those in India are still waiting to play the game on their consoles. There has been an unforeseen and unexplained delay in the release of this title here in the country.

No Man’s Sky was supposed to be launched for the PS4 in India on August 10, but that did not happen. A number of retail websites are now listing August 13 to be its release date. The worldwide PC release date remains the same, i.e. August 12 (today).

As per the sources of Gadgets 360, Sony itself has instructed retailers that August 13 is the release date for No Man’s Sky. Moreover, the company has not provided any reason for the same yet. That being the case with the physical copies, this game is indeed available to purchase and play via the Indian PS Store right now.

No Man's Sky

No Man’s Sky has been developed by Hello Games, the makers of the much loved Joe Danger series of games. This is their first attempt at a triple-A title, and it would be interesting to see how it fares. The first wave of reviews is yet to arrive, but reports are already surfacing regarding several glitches that are plaguing it.

No Man’s Sky falls under the action-adventure survival genre. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it takes place inside a procedurally generated open universe, which includes more than 18 quintillion planets.
