Cabela’s Adventure Camp Announced for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii

A new game in the Cabela’s franchise titled Cabela’s Adventure Camp has been confirmed to hit the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii consoles in early November. This title apparently includes a range of camp related mini-games like biking, water sports and more, which can apparently be enjoyed by both ‘young and old.’

Aimed at people of all ages, this title kicks in outdoor activities that look to take players ‘straight to summer camp, even in the middle of winter.’ Thrill Hill Biking, Wild River Kayaking and Full Throttle Wave Riding are names of some of the activities that are to feature in the game. An Interactive Griefing trait in this title would allow idle players to ‘grief’ others by creating obstacles in their gameplay.

David Oxford, Executive Vice President of Activision Publishing, commented, “We are thrilled to bring the fun and enjoyment of the outdoors to living rooms around the country as parents share the love of these traditionally outdoor activities with their kid. We are excited to offer a family bonding experience in this motion-oriented, active participation, social gathering title!”

Cabela’s Adventure Camp has been designed to support the Kinect as well as the PS Move peripherals for their respective consoles. The motion-based gameplay mechanics for this title have supposedly been ‘uniquely engineered for each individual system.’ Developers are claiming the controls of this game to be ‘simple and easy to learn.’

Gamers who wish to purchase Cabela’s Adventure Camp would be able to do so on November 1, when it releases for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Pricing details of this title are yet to be revealed.
