Hudson Entertainment has sent word that they will be bringing the hit PSP game, Rengoku to the mobile platform. The game will be set in a dark and futuristic world and will have a lot of frenzied action.
Rengoku Overview:
- Rengoku will pit the mobile gamers against gangs of enemies as GRAM, a cyborg who is searching for the truth behind his existence. Throughout the adventure, gamers have the occasion to fully upgrade GRAM’s components and abilities to better equip him against the onslaught of enemies he will encounter.
The game takes players on a voyage through seven distinct levels offered from an isometric point of view, where they will face ruthless enemies, each with unique AI and attack patterns. To cope with the persistent challenges posed by each level, players will have the chance to upgrade multiple components, including GRAM’s head, arms, torso, legs, and weapons. Power-ups and hidden secrets can be found throughout each level, creating an unparalleled level of character customization.

Rengoku was developed for the PSP by Konami and was released in 2006. The game was a decent hit on the handheld. But mobile gamers would be happy to get a fantasy game like Rengoku to play with.
