Hitman is now a fully episodic game, details explained

Just when the vagueness surrounding 2016’s Hitman was showing no signs of receding, IO Interactive has come out explaining all the details regarding its release. The game is now a completely episodic offering, meaning you can pay for each episode as it comes out rather than paying for all of them at first.

Hitman will arrive in monthly installments, and the March 11 release date will see a prologue mission and a Paris location being made available for gamers. In April, a location in Italy will be launched, while May will take the bald assassin head to Morocco.

Three additional locations also exist in the form of Thailand, the US and Japan, but there’s no word on which month they will be released. However, we do know that all the episodes will be out by the end of this year, and a complete pack will then start being sold it the market.
