Hitman gets delayed into 2016

One of the most anticipated titles of this year, Hitman has just become one of the most anticipated titles of next year. The game was supposed to be released on multiple platforms December 8, but its launch has been pushed forward to March 2016 by its makers.

The extra time will be utilized by developer IO Interactive to add more content to the launch package of Hitman. For those unaware, this game will be released in sort of an episodic fashion. A big chunk of the title will be launched at first, and you’ll need to pay the full cost in order to buy it. More content will then keep being added later on.

The game’s makers have revealed that this controversial release model is the main reason behind its delay. For gamers, the delay means that there will be more launch content to play when the title actually arrives in the market. Moreover, it will also result in a tighter frequency of updates.
