Mad Max PC requirements get revealed

Avalanche Studios, the developer responsible for the upcoming Mad Max game, has outed the exact minimum and recommended PC requirements for this title. Along with the Windows platform, it is also slated to be released for the PS4 and the Xbox One later this year.

64-bit copies of Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 will be needed for Mad Max to work. You will need to free up around 32GB of storage space in order to occupy its game files, while DirectX Version 11 will indeed be required as well.

Coming to the minimum technical requirements, this title will need either a 3.2GHz Intel Core i5-650 CPU or a 3.4GHz AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor in order to work. Make sure to have at least 6GB of RAM present in your PCs as well, in order to play the game. In terms of GPUs, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 660ti (2GB or higher) or the AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB or higher) will be the bare minimum.

Coming to the recommended PC requirements for Mad Max, a 3.4GHz Intel Core i7-3770 CPU or a 4GHz AMD FX-8350 processor will ensure silky smooth performance according to Avalanche. Having 8GB of RAM will help this cause as well. Lastly, the GPU you need to choose for maximum performance is either the Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (3GB or higher) or the AMD Radeon HD 7970 (3GB or higher).

Mad Max will be set in the same post-apocalyptic world in which the movies take place. It will feature action-adventure gameplay and will lay heavy focus on vehicular combat. It is slated to be released for the above mentioned platforms on September 1.
