Apart from a standard version, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will also be arriving in the form of a collector’s edition. This package will kick in a host of physical and in-game items for fans to benefit from. It will come equipped with exclusive packaging, a steelbook case, a Blu-Ray disc containing a behind-the-scenes documentary and trailers of the game, a map and most importantly, a half-scale replica of Snake’s bionic arm.

All that being the physical content, there’s a lot of in-game stuff to be had as well. It will come in the form of a weapon and shield pack, some costumes for Snake, an XP boost in MGS: Online and much more. There’s even a Day One Edition of the game on its way, which will be sold at the same price as that of the standard copy, and will offer a physical map and various in-game items. Apart from all this, the game’s limited edition PS4 console has also been announced by Sony. It will be released only in Asia however.
