This isn’t that big a surprise, but news is that Batman: Arkham Origins will have a Complete Edition ready to ship on August 21 this year. The news comes after a retail listing for this version of the game was spotted, replete with new box art. What hasn’t been mentioned however, are details about the additional content which will form part of this special edition. But since there have been a few DLC packs released for the title, we can expect them all to form part of it.
As pointed out by VG247, the listing for Batman: Arkham Origins Complete Edition has appeared on Amazon.de and shows that it applies only to the game’s PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions. The Wii U version of the title has been kept out of the loop. This is not a big shocker since owners of the Nintendo console were issued refunds for its Season Pass recently when the makers failed to deliver a DLC pack to them.
Like we said, it is quite unclear at the moment as to what extra content will be delivered by this Complete Edition of Batman: Arkham Origins. Judging by past GotY versions of titles from the series, we can expect all the post-release downloadable content to form part of the package. This means the Deathstroke Pack, the Initiation DLC and the Cold, Cold Heart expansion could very well be included in the deal.
Batman: Arkham Origins was released in October last year as a prequel to the series created by Rocksteady Studios. And by the looks of it, its Complete Edition is all set to hit store shelves on August 21.
