Silent Hills is being developed by Kojima Productions, and fans of the studio will be pleased to know that Hideo Kojima himself is very much involved in the project. Moreover, Hollywood director Guillermo del Toro is also contributing to it, whereas The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus is donning the role of the lead character. Created the Keiichiro Toyama, the Silent Hill franchise tackles the survival horror genre of gaming, and includes some of the scariest titles ever made. The journey began back in 1999 when the first title was launched for the PlayStation. Since then there have been a number of sequels and spin-offs to the series, and the latest one among the lot was a PS Vita title named Silent Hill: Book of Memories which was launched in October 2012.

Like we said, there’s little known about Silent Hills, but we do have a new trailer to keep us busy until something new is out again.
