PS4 version of GTA V appears on Portuguese retail site, can be pre-ordered now

PC owners waiting for GTA V to land on their beloved platform have one more reason to shed a tear. It appears that Rockstar is busy porting the game to the PS4, even as a Portuguese retailer has listed a copy for the said platform, and is even asking for 5 Euros (approx. Rs 425) to confirm its pre-order. After a release for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, the game was expected to be launched for PC, as had been pointed out by various leaks and rumors.

GTA V For PS4

Worten is the retailer which has given away the apparent existence of a PS4 version of GTA V. The listing is still online, and like we said, interested parties can reserve their pre-orders for a nominal fee. This move strengthens the possibility of the game being real, as the retailer isn’t worried about having to offer refunds afterwards. Upon being contacted by Eurogamer.pt, the site has said that it has information that Worten stores will indeed sell the game. No release date for it has been attached to the listing.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of GTA V were released back in September last year, and were quick to break sales records, and garner rave reviews of their tremendous open world offerings. The game for the first time in the series features three different protagonists who can be switched to on the fly. Ever since its announcement fans have been demanding a PC version, but Rockstar has chosen to remain mum on the matter.

There’s no official word on the PS4 version of GTA V either, but we’ll have more on it when additional details are out.
