Batman: Arkham Knight gets delayed into 2015, Batmobile details emerge

You can cross one more game off this year’s shopping list, as Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Interactive have just announced that Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed into 2015. Earlier, the game was supposed to be launched for the PS4, Xbox One and PC in October this year but that will no longer be happening owing to extended development time. A full showcase of the game is all set to take place at E3 next week.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Following a leak of its existence, Batman: Arkham Knight was announced in March this year as the concluding chapter of the Arkham trilogy developed by Rocksteady Games. On its unveiling date itself, it was slapped with an October 14 release date. Although its launch has now been pushed into 2015, there’s still no concrete date we can look forward to. What we can relish right now is the short Batmobile showcase video that has just been let out by its makers.

As we all know, Batman: Arkham Knight is highlighted by the fact that it will feature a drivable Batmobile. The clip in the space below shows the kind of weaponry which will be available to be used during battles. More on that will be available at this year’s E3 which is set to commence on June 9. This action-adventure from the famed and critically acclaimed series will feature an open world model and see a large number of villains from the DC Universe unite in order to kill the Dark Knight once and for all.

Batman: Arkham Knight is available for pre-order right now for the PS4, Xbox One as well as PC.
