GTA Online’s yet undisclosed content creator demonstrated in YouTube video

If footage from a few YouTube videos is to be looked at and believed, then GTA Online could soon receive its own content creator aimed at letting players concoct their own missions and races. Data leaked from the game’s files has apparently given away the existence of this feature, as revealed by YouTube user Funmw2 (account name: LiveUnknownHacks) who has discovered it. A comment on the matter is awaited from Rockstar, but nothing has been said by the company as yet.

Although unfinished, the mode still provides options to create new races and deathmatches. Funmw2 has written in one of the videos’ YouTube descriptions that the content creator was already there hidden in the initial game files. And moreover, another version of it has been deployed through the game’s 1.06 update which is yet to be tested. Funmw2 has revealed that he will soon be trying out the new one in hopes of grabbing something more out of it.

GTA Online was released on October 1 by Rockstar Games, but was marred by severe issues upon its launch. The developers were hard at work during the following weeks to deploy patches aimed at bringing the situation under control. Once that was done, a compensation package granting affected players $500,000 worth of in-game cash was also delivered by the developers. This multiplayer component of GTA V allows up to 16 players to compete against each other or play together in the various different missions spread across the huge map on which the single-player campaign takes place.
