Max Payne 3 Local Justice Pack Hits PSN and Xbox Live, Discounted for a Week

Three new maps and a lot more form part of the Max Payne 3 Local Justice Pack which is available now via Xbox Live worldwide and PSN in North America. European PSN account holders will be able to get this DLC later today. Moreover, all the stuff that was earlier doled out to gamers via pre-orders and retail has now been made available for everyone.

The three maps that make their way into the Max Payne 3 Local Justice Pack are all based on locations that were portrayed in the final chapters of the game’s single-player campaign. Dubbed The Imperial Palace, Departure Lounge and 55th Battalion HQ, these new maps will be accompanied by other goodies too. These include the M4 Assault Rifle and attachments, the Light Fingers Item which makes for faster looting, a new Sao Paulo Police multiplayer faction and fresh Achievements or Trophies.

Gamers possessing the Rockstar Pass will of course be able to download the DLC for free. Those who don’t can still purchase this membership for 2400 Microsoft Points or 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,630) and avail of a 35 percent discount on all the planned DLCs for the latest Max Payne title which gained an Overall score of 9/10 in our review of it. The pre-order and retail content includes five different downloadables that comprise the Cemetery Map and the Silent Killer Loadout Pack selling at 160 Microsoft Points or 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 110) each on Xbox Live and PSN, respectively.

Furthermore, the Pill Bottle Item which enables gamers to carry more painkillers in multiplayer sells at 80 Microsoft Points or 0.99 USD (approx. Rs. 55). The Deadly Force Burst and the Classic Max Payne Character content also retail at the same prices. Gamers can buy the Max Payne 3 Local Justice Pack DLC at a discounted price of 480 Microsoft Points or 5.99 USD (approx. Rs. 325) till the end of this week, after which it will sell at 640 Microsoft Points or 7.99 USD (approx. Rs. 435). This content will be released for PC on July 17, 2012.
